Joshua Esch Mitchell Aviation Scholarship
Posted by Reina Cooke on February 4, 2021Since 1945, Grand Rapids Community Foundation has been a major scholarship provider in Kent County, awarding more than $1 million every year to hundreds of students pursuing a higher education.
Qualifications:
Student is a US citizen, enrolled full or part-time at a college or university in the United States providing an accredited flight science curriculum. Applicants must be second year students or above or a first year student graduating from West Michigan Aviation Academy with a minimum 2.75 GPA pursuing undergraduate studies in the field of professional pilot with an emphasis in general aviation, Aviation Management, or Aviation Safety. A valid pilot’s certificate (not to include a Student Certificate) is required. A letter of recommendation from a professional in the aviation field is required.
