Women in Aviation International is thrilled to offer the 2022 WAI scholarship program featuring a variety of career pursuits. Scholarships include funding to further members' interests in aerospace engineering, aviation maintenance, flight training, helicopter ratings, dispatch, and professional development.
Applications are due October 12, 2021, and you must be an active WAI member by October 1, 2021, to apply. The 2022 scholarships will be awarded during the 33rd Annual International Women in Aviation Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, March 17-19, 2022.

Christine Reed Memorial Flight Scholarship
WAI, in partnership with J. Elliot Marketing of Nipomo, California, offer a $2,500 flight training scholarship in memory of Christine Reed. Christine passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32 and was never able to complete her flight training. This scholarship is open to women ages 16-30 who have soloed within the last six months preceding applying for this scholarship and are working toward their recreational, sport pilot, or private pilot certificate. Additional one- to two-page essay on Why I Love to Fly is also required.
