WAI: Republic Airways Opportunity Elevated Scholarship
WOMEN IN AVIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship awards are a major benefit of membership in Women in Aviation International and help members reach their goals and advance into the aviation and aerospace careers they have always dreamed about. Women in Aviation International is thrilled to offer the 2022 WAI scholarship program featuring a variety of career pursuits. Scholarships include funding to further members' interests in aerospace engineering, aviation maintenance, flight training, helicopter ratings, dispatch, and professional development.
Applications are due October 12, 2021, and you must be an active WAI member by October 1, 2021, to apply. The 2022 scholarships will be awarded during the 33rd Annual International Women in Aviation Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, March 17-19, 2022.

Republic Airways Opportunity Elevated Scholarship
Republic Airways will award a $5,000 scholarship to a female commercial pilot pursuing a professional pilot career. Applicants will be evaluated on academic standing, personal accomplishments, teamwork, leadership skills, and airmanship. Applicants must meet all WAI scholarship requirements and be instrument rated, a student or CFI at a Part 141/61 flight school, a minimum 3.0 GPA if applicable, and fewer than two checkride failures. Applicants must also include in his or her 500-word essay----the answers to the following three questions: What adversity have you overcome in your academic, personal or professional experiences? In what ways have you shown a commitment to developing yourself as an aviation professional? How will this scholarship impact your professional goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot?
