Neve Scholarships
NEVE Scholarships
NEVE will award two undergraduate STEM scholarships available annually for a total financial package of up to $10,000, payable for the Fall and Spring semesters, with a maximum of $5,000 per qualified semester. Scholarship was established by NEVE Project Inc. to advance the studies of science, technology, engineering and mathematics by Gerson Nascimento, NEVE’s founder and chairman.

Criteria:
Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who are enrolled or already accepted into a full-time post-secondary educational institution in the United States and pursuing Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in one of the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics).
Applicants must have a cumulative college Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% evidenced by an official transcript of grades or written statement from a school administrator.
- Three letters of recommendation, including at least one instructor or faculty advisor, a current or past employer, and at least one character reference. Multiple employer or academic references are permitted.
- Financial need
- Excellence, Character, Leadership (Fully describe academic achievement and other leadership roles)
- Service to community & others (Detail participation in the arts/music, athletics, volunteerism, environmental/humanitarian groups, or other service organizations)
Application Information:
IMPORTANT: Complete and submit one application and the following supporting documentation on or before the application deadline: an official* transcript of grades (if college grades are not available by the application deadline, submit high school transcript and verification of enrollment or letter of official acceptance from a post-secondary educational institution) and letters of recommendation (see above). Transcripts must be mailed and received in a separately sealed envelope and post marked on or before the application deadline. Reference letters must be signed. Re-applications accepted from former scholarship recipients and applicants provided they meet current scholarship criteria.
*Unofficial transcripts can be included with your application; however official transcripts will be needed for the final decision.
VALIDATION: In submitting this application, I believe all of the above information to be true and complete and I hereby apply to NEVE for a scholarship. I certify that I am not receiving full funding for my education from an employer, any branch of the Armed Services or other organization. I authorize NEVE to obtain and review my academic records (including but not limited to official transcripts). By submitting this application, I agree to hold NEVE harmless from any and all liability for damage, injury, or loss sustained by me in connection with this application, including but not limited to, the acquisition by NEVE of my academic records.

Scholarships are awarded for the academic year following the application deadline beginning with the fall semester.
