October 13, 2020
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Eric Archer, Associate Professor of Educational Leadership in Higher Education, and Dr. Ramona Lewis, Faculty Specialist II and HESA Program Coordinator, have each been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Fulbright Specialist Roster for the U.S Department of State.
The Fulbright Specialist Program, part of the larger Fulbright Program, was established in 2001 by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The program pairs highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, strengthen institutional linkages, hone their skills, gain international experience, and learn about other cultures while building capacity at their overseas host institutions.

They are also currently serving as two of three co-editors for an upcoming New Directions in Student Services monograph on the Global Contexts of 21st Century Student Affairs Practice, which will be published in 2021.
