Organizational Development Specialist

Organizational Development Specialist will serve as a strategist and practitioner for employee engagement and workplace inclusion. In collaboration with the HR team, this position will partner with unit leaders to identify and implement sustainable solutions to improve work environments, employee well-being, engagement, development, and performance. In addition to developing solutions for local unit needs, the Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of Leadership and Talent Development strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promote a common sense of community and purpose by facilitating monthly development sessions. Analyze engagement data and develop a strategy and tactics to improve employee engagement.
  • Continue and refine the inclusion strategy.
  • Establish common language, tools, and unit philosophy on employee development. 
  • Clarify and improve existing and new dynamics within the organization that directly influence the work environment. 
  • Conduct needs analysis, evaluate opportunities, ensure efforts align with business needs and calculate return on investment. 
  • Prepare lesson plans and partner with subject matter experts to receive input.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of development sessions and implement suggestions for improvements. 
  • Carry out enterprise Leadership and Talent Development strategies by developing plans and methods for local application.
