Important Information regarding the Resident Assistant Search for 2019-20
Applicant Requirements:
- 2.6 Cumulative GPA at the end of the fall 2018 session.
- Must have lived in residence halls for two semesters (at any college or university). Note: The spring 2019 semester counts toward the two semester requirement (i.e. if you are a first-year student and lived in the halls for fall 2018 and will live in the halls for spring 2019, you are eligible to apply). Summer sessions count as a half semester. Two summer sessions = one full semester.
- Must have obtained 16 credits at a college or university by the end of the spring 2019 semester. (Credits obtained do not include AP or credits obtained while in high school). Note: If a transfer student, housing and GPA verification (transcript) must be provided to the Residence Life office in the Faunce Student Services building by Jan. 16, 2019.
- Must submit an online completed application and two (2) online recommendation forms by 4 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2019.
- Attend an interview weekend. You will sign up for this interview on your application. The dates of the interview weekends are Jan. 24 (6:30 to 10:30 p.m.) through Jan. 25 (3 to 10 p.m.) or Feb. 1 (6 to 10 p.m.) through Feb. 2 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Candidates must attend both days of the weekend they have chosen.
Please read carefully the following information:
- The application is for Resident Assistant positions for 2019-20. After application review and interviews, candidates will be notified of their status. Candidates will be identified as being hired, placed into the alternate pool or declined. Candidates placed in the alternate pool may be hired as positions become available through summer 2019.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Applications without recommendation forms will not be considered.
- There will be a review after each component of the process, including application review, and candidates will potentially be dropped after each component.

Attend an information night to find out more information regarding the selection processes for Resident Assistants. Each residence hall will be offering a session. Look for posters and information in your hall or see your Hall Director in the hall office.
