Britton/Hadley (Valley 1)

Britton/Hadley residents love where they live and truly consider the hall home. Students are often found in the Global Kitchen, lobbies and lounges hanging out or studying. A quieter building, the diverse community is known for creating a welcoming and accepting environment. The building is located near Sindecuse Health Center and Goldsworth Valley Pond.

Britton/Hadley Highlights

  • Hadley houses the Global Hall learning community.
  • Coming Fall 2026, Hadley will also house the Health Professionals Community.
  • Britton houses the Spectrum House learning community
  • Students living anywhere in Britton/Hadley may be part of the Spectrum community, attending events and using resources. 
  • Room-only option available (residents living in Britton/Hadley may elect not to purchase a dining plan)
  • Coed floors with female, male and all-gender suites. Rooms on the 1st floor Britton have no gender designation as part of our gender-inclusive housing option.
  • Card access system for interior and exterior doors
  • Dining center located within the Valley neighborhood

The Room

Suites in Britton/Hadley consist of two rooms that share a connecting bathroom. A total of four people live in a suite.

Room Dimensions

  • Bedroom: 12 feet by 12 feet 2 inches
  • Entrance: 5 feet 5 inches by 6 feet 1 inch.

Meal Plans

Students who live in Britton/Hadley have the option of purchasing a meal plan. Students choose their meal plan when they select their room in the Housing Portal.

Mail and Packages

Students living in the residence halls can receive mail and packages. Here you'll find mailing addresses for all of our campus housing and instructions for receiving packages.
