Housing active with diversity initiative

Housing and Residence Life’s Call to Action makes the department’s values on diversity, inclusion and equity clear and defines its action plan. Progress updates are posted, including recognition. The most recent spotlight is on Alex Peterson, hall director of Eldridge/Fox Hall. Alex was nominated by two of his peers due to his commitment to continuing education on racism inequality. To quote his nomination, "Alex is always looking for ways to continue his and his staff's education on racism and inequality. From attending the local Summit on Racism every year to attending the Restorative Justice Symposium at MSU for multiple years, Alex is putting in the work to grow. Furthermore, he works to share what he's learned with his peers and the department."
