Clinical care at Sindecuse Health Center is provided by appointment. Patients may make an appointment by phone or online.
Visitors to the health center wishing to be seen by a medical professional will be offered the first available appointment time—which may be later that day or the following business day. Visitors who arrive after 4:30 p.m. seeking an appointment, or arrive when all appointments are filled will be offered one on the following business day. We strongly recommend patients make an appointment ahead of time to have a predictable visit time frame.

Physician, physician assistant, nursing, laboratory, and X-ray appointments. Choose a clinician and request this clinician whenever you make an appointment.
Sports Medicine Clinic
Physical therapy, chiropractor, massage therapy and sports medicine physician appointments.
Chaperones are available
Sindecuse Health Center follow's WMU's Medical Chaperone policy. At every visit, patients are welcome to request a chaperone. Clinical staff are available to serve as a chaperone. Our staff will maintain patient confidentiality standards set by Sindecuse Health Center. When a chaperone is present, your provider will try to keep questions of a sensitive nature to a minimum. Please let our staff know if you would like a chaperone.
All available appointments are shown to those seeking primary care appts. Some appointment types—international travel, for example—need to be scheduled by phone.
Everyone has to check in, so plan on arriving 15 minutes before your appointment. This will get you through the registration process and into your appointment on time. If this is a return visit to the health center, and you are not covered by Medicaid, you may register using the kiosk at the welcome desk.
Bring your Bronco ID card and current insurance card
You'll need both of these. If you have prescription drug coverage through outside insurance, bring that identification card and information with you. Bring a photocopy if you don't carry your card.
Cancellation and no-show policy
Fees are charged for to patients who do not cancel in the time requested before an appointment or who miss the appointment without notification.
Four-hour advance cancellation notice is required for:
- Primary care, nursing, massage therapy—$20 fee
- Chiropractic care, dietitian, sports medicine doctors—$50 fee
Student-only services also require four-hour cancellation:
- Psychiatry, psychologist, psychiatric social work—$50 fee
- Counseling services—$20 fee
One-hour advance cancellation notice is required for:
- Physical therapy—$20 fee
If you are unable to keep your appointment, call us at (269) 387-3287 (press 2) or use the patient portal to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Sports Medicine appointment s can be cancelled by calling (269) 387-3248. Health insurance policies do not pay cancellation fees.
