Being a college student is a transformative experience where we learn who we are and where we belong in the world. With that comes challenges—and we all deserve to be supported when we need it most. As an intake specialist at WMU it is my job to understand who you are, what you need, and how I can connect you to resources that will benefit you.
I was born and raised in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula. My educational journey led me to Traverse City where I attended Northwestern Michigan College before obtaining my Bachelor of Social Work degree through Ferris State University at NMC’s University Center. I attended graduate school at WMU where I had the privilege of interning at Sindecuse Health Center in Counseling Services prior to achieving my Master of Social Work degree. I graduated with the Trauma Across the Life Span Specialization that WMU offers and have been able to apply my knowledge in various professional roles. It is my true honor to assist you in your journey toward wellness and I invite you to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
