I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Addictions Counseling. After completing my undergraduate degree, I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work here at WMU. I have been working in the area of mental health for over 17 years and have been a counselor at Sindecuse since 2015. My scope of practice includes anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, family issues, relationships, grief and loss, spiritual issues, anger management, ADHD, and disordered eating.
I think one of the most important things a therapist can do is to provide you with a space that is totally non-judgmental so that you can feel comfortable being honest about what you are thinking and feeling. I tend to utilize collaborative goal-setting, structured approaches, and practical evidence-based strategies to help clients cope with whatever challenges they are facing.
